Did someone tell Sasha there’s a game today?
Agreed....but no less contact than on a couple of the late ones called for Ohio State. Looks like the Boilers maybe needed to try and win it in regulation....down seven now with just over a minute,
Lost this game in the first half and at the free throw line...but valiant effort to come back from 18 down to send it into OT.
Well, if we had looked like we had ever shot a free throw, we would have won. But we had to make it hard on ourselves.
Blew it with bad decions on o and Sasha falling down and slipping the next
Well Sasha either has a good game or absolutely nothing....There is nothing in between...And his defense really sticks out when he gives nothing on defense
Tough break for Purdue....not executing well enough in the extra session.....a game effort, but they're likely to come up short now.
The comeback was great but now moot. Horrible first half, horrible OT, can't shoot free throws = L
Purdue lost this game on the FT line. That's pretty much it...
Is Hunter now officially a liability at the line late in games?

Solid learning experience right before tourney. The fight is there. Didn’t play a great game and still battled back against a “2 seed”.
I'm pretty damn proud of this team for the fight they put up.
Hunter forcing whatever that was in the lane to start OT was a bad omen. Morton needs to get his moxie going ASAP in time for next year, we need him.
Great comeback, Williams was out of his mind, Free Throws and the two Jr's not producing are killing the Boilers. Great game though, this won't affect us next week at all.
Ok, so you manage to compartmentalize, but there is no 'fight' column in the stat sheet. They shouldn't have had to 'fight' to begin with if they defend and hit FTs.

Yeah, Tre going hard on the steal only to stop and flip that garbage up was brutal.
Hard to beat a team 3 times in a year unless you’re playing IU.
I know Tre was doing work but those are two plays that, bascially seniors, shouldn't be doing in OT. I like Hunter but he is teetering on the liability side on offense. He has hit just enough threes to make teams still guard him but it feels like its getting worse.
Hunter goes up with that all the time. Should have just got the bucket.
This team is loaded with freshmen. Yeah, they were down big due to OSU shooting lights out. Those same freshmen and Tre played a hell of a 2nd half. In the end, if we had hit 1 more free throw in regulation, we win.
Time to move on, stay healthy, and get ready for the real season! I'm confident that this team can have a nice run, they have a punchers chance at a final 4 run.
No question....but a helluva effort in the second half.....Boilers need that for 40 minutes, or their season will end sooner than later. Mixed bag, today.....Ohio State is good, and you usually can't spot them a lead like that and expect to have a shot.
Big Cat Williams got back to impact level....that's a really good sign.
We shall see where Purdue gets bracketed.....looks like it might be a #4 in Baylor/Gonzaga half. Shock the World, Boilers!
