I've only seen highlights of Simpson. His highlights were impressive.

I've watched game footage of Edwards and he'll be a great fit for Purdue. He's more of a scorer than a pure point, which is why he isn't ranked higher, but that's arguably better for Purdue's offense. Edwards is a great athlete and shooter.

Painter was comfortable offering Edwards a first come first serve scholarship when he was actively recruiting Simpson.
