I think this is critical. The first time Purdue played Adrian Martinez as a Nebraska QB, they played Michigan the week before and you could really tell in the way he moved to be honest …
we open with penn state and then you have a bunch of other teams I didn’t really glance at, but look at the toughest teams on our schedule midseason
Nebraska - travels to Rutgers the weekend before they travel to us. If they hosted Rutgers first so what, but l like the back to back road games beginning with the farthest travel in the big ten… and though Rutgers may not be good, they are physical
Wisconsin, Minnesota and Maryland? All play Michigan state the week before they play us.
Illinois also plays Michigan state the week before they play us. So does Indiana! And then Northwestern plays Minnesota the week before us.
pretty much half of our schedule plays Michigan state the week before us. To me this is huge. Mel Tucker’s team is physical and particularly his defense will take a lot out of you.
