With Wegher's commitment...

Purdue stands at 11 commits for what I believe should be about a 17 man class. In actuality, if you count Wells as being in the 2016 class, it's now 12 for a 18 man class, or 2/3 on the way to a full class.

I originally expected Purdue to take just two WR commits and now they have three and possibly a fourth coming later. While this seems like a lot in such a small class, bear in mind that at least in Franklin and now Wegher's case, they aren't necessarily just WRs. Franklin was being recruited by some schools as a DB and indicated he might run the ball from the WR position. Wegher too might be somewhat of a hybrid WR/RB player like Hazell used at KSU in Dri Archer. For now, I'll leave them in the WR spot.

Where I believe Purdue's class will break down:
OT - 2 slots - Wells and Campbell committed
OG/C - 2 slots - Powell committed, 1 slot left
TE - 1 slot - none committed
WR - 2 slots - Franklin, Johnson and Wegher committed
QB - 1 slot - none committed. At this stage, I would expect if Purdue takes a QB it will be as more of an athlete who could move positions.
RB - 1 slot - none committed (Again, Wegher could be used here)

DT - 1 slot - none committed
DE - 1 slot - Hill committed
LB - 1 slot - Miller committed
CB - 2 slots - Hayes and Shuman committed
S - 2 slots - Long and Mosley committed. Long is listed as a CB but my guess is that he'll end up at the Safety position

K/P - 1 slot - none committed. This may be a spot where Purdue looks to a invited walk-on instead of using a scholarship. Would free up another slot that's badly needed.
