Wisconsin v. Purdue Game Thread

Once again the guards cant and or wont drive in and make things happen because there is always 1 and most times 2 people camped on the blocks posting so its just an endless game of how good the defenses rotate from the weakside against us as we just mindlessly pass it around hoping for a free 1 on 1 post up

BOOOOORING and wont work tourney time
It’s been obvious since last year that we don’t have someone who can handle the ball other than Ivey.
Right on que, IT gets his pocket picked.

Boilers better find some energy and urgency....wow. It's one thing to get beat, but as one other poster mentioned - pretty uninspired so far tonight.

On the bright side - they could easily be down double digits if Wisconsin was making some shots.

Yeh, I’ll continue to bitch about it: Painter screwed up not getting an upgrade at PG in the portal. Without Ivey, all we do is throw it around the perimeter and hope for an open 3 or the post to come open. There’s no threat of dribble penetration, no ability to create, no transition opportunity.

The entire team is doing that. Not just Hunter.
Look for Purdue to have patience in feeding the posts to see if they can score or get fouls on their bigs...patience will help the three ball as well.

A few long defensive boards and Purdue will have Jaden in transition. Get on the same page, embrace the grit and Amp up the physical play a bit

IT did the same thing at the CC in Indy. Just meanders up the court only to have it stripped mindlessly. I really like the kid, but for ball control and possession, Morton needs to bring it up there.
