Wisconsin at Purdue

lol there’s only one thing you could be arguing that I disagree with.. that Oconnell isn’t the best we have. If your argument is that he isn’t a first round pick your arguing with someone else.

if your argument is that someone else is better, you’re incorrect. Who would do better? Plummer?

when it’s your first read and your mental process goes like this .. you aren’t better than Aidan:

is someone open? Pats the ball. Oh look, I think someone is coming open. Pats the ball. But I can’t throw it yet because I have to make sure it’s like super wide open and will be for like a full t…

Jack plummer sacked by Leo chenal.. fumbles, recovered by Leo chenal
And I quote:

"Dude HE is good. If you’re expecting him to be Steve young if Wisconsin takes advantage of holstege, Miller, Witt then that’s on those guys not him"

Your quote said nothing about being the best on the team...

I’m not watching the game. Is he standing back there with a secure pocket just blowing it? The offensive line is playing Like the 03 line cause I doubt it

Pat Aidan is probably having his worst game against the best defense we will face all year and maybe next year and we are tied 13-13 with the ball and we get the all in the second half.. against a team that would have smoking us in a similar looking game in any of the last 17 years.. what’s not to like dude ?

For every TD he has thrown he's done an INT I think (7 TDs 7 INTs). I think.
Ok and how many of those have been secure pocket, forces a bad throw? Two? If holds the ball for 19 seconds cause he needs the perfect scenario to get it out plummer was better, he’d be out there dude.

I've been as critical of the offensive line as anyone, but that ratio is not good regardless. I also don't think Plummer is better frankly because he gets too hurried.

Burton can throw, well as far as we have heard and he's mobile so why not give him a chance? Especially when the other two are struggling. I'd love to see AOC succeed though, don't get me wrong.

I guarantee you Burton is not going to be as quick through reads as Oconnell. My understanding of “throwing” might be different

He has as many INTs as TDs. And he almost had another this game when the D lineman tipped it. He's an OK QB. He's just not great...
Lol who said he was great man!?! I said he was David Blough ish and you’re getting how you’re getting because you wish you could argue plummer is better (THERE IS NO GREAT QB ON THE ROSTER) but you know you can’t

aoc is a turnover machine. last week was a fluke.
I don't think that was a fluke. But this team really needs a more mobile QB who can throw. If you're gonna throw as many INTs as TDs and can't avoid pretty obvious pressure, you're probably not the right solution...

Your logic makes no sense. Burton hasn't been given a chance. Not sure why you're falling on your sword over O'Connell?

You can't guarantee something we haven't seen yet. And if the first half is any clue, you don't have a safe bet there.
Oconnell is outstanding through his reads dude.. he’s slow footed playing the best defense we will see all year. Burton is a running QB who hasn’t thrown 50 college passes as a fifth year senior.

here I’ll play your game. Your dad is a John elway level QB.. can’t tell me I’m wrong because he hasn’t been on the Broncos and failed

The thinking here is your tied even with these throws. Go into halftime and try to make adjustments for him. AOC will get a series or two in 3rd.

While I'm curious to see what Burton would do, AOC may just be the only option we have right now. You are spot on that we need a mobile QB that can throw. I was hoping Plummer would be that type of QB, but he gets in his own way too much.

As a fifth year senior who was already at UCLA. So you think this whole time he’s been better than Oconnell and plummer but the coaches just have it in for him?

who the f is better than Oconnell then let’s revisit it.. plummer pat? Plummer?
