Winning the recruiting battle against Izzo

That's 3 recruits in 3 consecutive years that were offered by Izzo, but ended up at Purdue.

Can't remember the last time before this we had beaten out Izzo....not to mention for 3 years in a row

I'll bite first. Williams spot might have been taken when Bingham committed to MSU, but it was nice to get Eastern and Swanigan. I don't remember if MSU pulled Williams offer like Purdue did for Castleton though.

Still think recruiting against MSU will be an uphill battle as long as Izzo is there for Painter. However, if Purdue can finally go deep in the NCAA this year and MSU underachieves again things on the recruiting front could really start to change. That's a big if though.

Laughing at the MSU stalkers on this board jumping in to justify. Izzo offered Eastern and Trevion, if they accepted the offer, he would have taken them. They didn't. So.....

It won't be long now. The public libraries open at 10:00 am. The MSU trolls will be shuffling in and finding a warm spot to rest, and starting to post. Otherwise we will need to wait for the night shift at Walmart to get over. It might take some time to get that rusty pickup to start, so maybe we won't see them until Monday.

After watching the horrible show MSU put on last night against ND, the trolls better worry about their FB team. Lucky for them, they will not play Brohm & Co. this year.
