Meaning him actually playing in the game?
even more likely if PJ is still limited (though it's said he practiced yesterday and is in warmups today). He played in the MSU game - albeit very limited time. His length would be nice for this game defensively.
He needs to play..Meaning him actually playing in the game?
Missed that. Clearly wasn't in there long enough for me to notice! He played in the MSU game - albeit very limited time. His length would be nice for this game defensively.
So what is going on with Stephens?
Good points. For comparison, look at how all-american candidate (and probably first team all-B1G if not injured) Caris Levert performed in his first game back limited minutes against us in AA last Saturday. Sure, CL's injury absence is different than KS's reasons for sitting out games, but first games back, regardless of reason for the prolonged absence, do not always go smoothly.Probably nothing more than a player who missed a couple weeks of practice trying to get back into game shape and the flow of the team. In the minutes he played against MSU he didn't look quite ready for game action (although I still don't know how that 3 he took rolled out).
As much as these guys get bashed on here, it's easy to forget the extreme level of fitness they are operating at. It's impossible to keep outside of the team structure. It would be nice to see the team get a lead tonight so he can get some action but it shouldn't be shocking to not see him a lot for a few more games.
