Will the 2020 Blue Wave predicted end up being Red Tide?

Asking for my liberal friends and also giving a public service announcement that it's not too late to join the team with the steam.

Are you really celebrating a win in a district that Republicans have held consecutively since 1992 except from January 23, 2019 until October 27th, 2019?

That's the big win we're going to hang our hat on here?

Umm yeah it's going to take more than that to get me worried about a "Red Tide"

Yep, let's tone down the enthusiasm a bit here, BSIT. Let's keep it on the straight and narrow and keep bashing Trump. Thanks.

desperation on your part. I get it though. It’s rare that a republican wins an election now days since trump took over the party. All signs point to a massive blue wave as the senate is now a toss up.

* The House was 241-194 Republican after the 2016 election. Today, it's effectively 235-199 Democratic.

* Republicans held a historic 33-16 advantage in governor's seats after the 2016 election. Today, it's 26-24.

* Republicans had a 32-14 advantage in state legislatures controlled after 2016. Today, it's 30-19. (Some legislatures are split, with one party controlling one chamber, and the other party in a majority in the other.)

* The GOP had total control over the governance of 24 states, vs. seven for Democrats. Today, it's a much-closer 22-14.

* Republicans had an advantage of 57 percent to 42 percent in nationwide state legislative seats after 2016. Today, that 15-point edge is trimmed to five, 52-47.

We shall see. These flip back and forth. Off year elections tend to favor the opposing party. With Biden the face of the Dems, I like the Republican chances this Fall

Yes that 20 percent unemployment and 80,000 dead will be some nice selling points. Actually Biden’s polling has been some of the steadiest ever recorded. We are so far out though I won’t get ahead of myself. But it will take a miracle at this point for trump to win. Just the like the virus magically going away!

I just hope real conservatism comes back. I used to go both ways up until recently.

I also heard BOR may Alan be joining him on gun control too. Both of those won’t help him win Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin
Tough strategy to figure out. If you’re interested in landing independent voters who are undecided, keep AOC far away.

And, it appears as if one of her largest groups to support her just withdrew that support for her campaign.
Interesting. Again, can’t figure out why any self-described “moderate” Democrat (which he’s not anymore) would want her anywhere near the campaign. A proven buffoon.

That’s why I said a few weeks ago Biden is being pulled to the left. He isn’t a moderate IMO. The Dems are moving farther to the left

You’ll be shocked but I respect her and Bernie more than Biden because they stick to their core principles whereas Biden flounders in the wind

So think a minute...He's going to pick a liberal woman for VP. He's asked AOC to come on board. Beta Boy is his gun control guy. How long before he says Hillary will be in charge of his security?

That’s a good point. Most reject their ideology but respect their Soviet loyalty.

Join the team with the steam?

Steam can easily burn one's butt, and easily fog one's vision as well. I'll take a pass. :D

About the only red tide I see is the rise of red ink needed to deal with this pandemic, in order to limit our economic losses, from a lack of preparedness.

Just my opinion, though.

Can it be we will see Socialism come to the rescue, of capitalism?????

Yep we might as well go all in with Nancy's latest proposal adding more debt for non CV19 issues and use NY as a model for management and preparedness. I do hope Nancy gets SALT reinstated so she can take care of people like me with 3 homes. Dems love looking out for the little guy. Tic

Funny thing is, if Trump had done his job then you wouldn’t have to worry about adding more debt. As you also know, he bears no responsibility so here we are. You have no room to whine.

Yep the CV19 is all Trump’s fault. Too bad the Governors and Hospitals bear zero responsibility

Steam also destroys germs and moves the dirt. Biden, AOC....dirt.

Hmmm. Never said the virus was his fault. Sitting on his ass and doing nothing about it for two months sure was though. And pretty soon we will hit 100k dead because of his negligence. MAGA.

What did the Governors and Hospitals do? They were negligent in NY and Michigan. However I’m hoping Nancy gets me my SALT deduction. My 3 homes need the deductions the Republicans took from me.

You can continue to run in circles, but your guy owns it all. The buck stops with him.

Do the Chinese have any skin in this game? How about the governors? Was it Obama's fault the Swine flu killed so many? How about the Ebola deaths....who's responsibility is that? You guys trying to blame Trump for this are silly for doing so.

Ok you’re right he has done so much worse than HRC or Joe would have done. They would have made sure the Governors would not have been so stupid to put infected folks in nursing homes and would have made sure all the hospitals were competent in supply management and definitely wouldn’t have implemented xenophobic travel restrictions months before anyone would have agreed. Not to mention Nancy visiting China town saying Trump was overreacting along with DeBlasio saying the same. Looking forward for the Dems taking care of the rich by reinstating the SALT deductions for my California house and 2 Kauai homes

But Hilary. But her emails. Round and round we go with the same deflection and nonsense. Joe isn’t the president and therefore you’re just opining about him, although the administration he was part of handled swine flu and Ebola with far better results. Perfect? Absolutely not, but history says he would have done far better. But they laid the groundwork for this administration to do even better and this administration ignored all of it. The bottom line is Trump has a lot of death on his hands. There’s no sugar coating it. You and your favorite fox trolls can say otherwise but 80k+ people have figuratively stood on Fifth Avenue, trump has mowed them down, and as he predicted, his base mostly doesn’t care.

The real question is, Are you better off now then what you were 4 yrs ago ?
How can we be with Pelosi initiating bills and earmarking tax money on pet projects than what the purpose of subsidies should be for.
