Why no UM timeout after missed free throw?

I'm pretty sure he burned his last timeout before Purdue in-bounded the ball with 5 seconds left.

He wanted to see our set and called the timeout after we lined up.

I was wondering the same thing and checked the highlight. Michigan did have a timeout left. Well, whatever works for us.

Well a timeout also gives Purdue a chance to set their defense and contest the inbound.
