I didn’t think any of the teams we beat in Maui were as good as their ranking, IMOWell there is big 10
Or, sometimes good teams looseI didn’t think any of the teams we beat in Maui were as good as their ranking, IMO
That will soon be the narrative.I didn’t think any of the teams we beat in Maui were as good as their ranking, IMO
So then, who is good? Who are the top 5 best teams?I didn’t think any of the teams we beat in Maui were as good as their ranking, IMO
It looks like no dominant teams and anybody can lose to anyone this year.So then, who is good? Who are the top 5 best teams?
FIRE SHAKA !! 2 losses in 10 days ! Unacceptable!!!Well there is big 10
Bunch of paritySo then, who is good? Who are the top 5 best teams?
So was the Maui field overrated or no? 1, 3,4,7, 12, 18 upset/lost (4 lost to 5 but it was UConn losing to KU who lost to Marquette in Hawaii so not a upset really) this weekend and FAU in a dogfight with Charleston. It looks like no dominant teams and anybody can lose to anyone this year.
UCONN was looking great until Kansas, who Marquette handled, humbled them last night.
Tennessee thumped Wisconsin in Madison, but lost to Kansas, who lost to Marquette.
Arizona is the only team that hasn't shown any blemishes yet. We'll find out soon where they stack up.
Can you link any comments by CMP or the players talking about Arizona this past week? We talk about it here, but I don't recall anyone on the team talking about that match-up.I'm not upset that purdue lost. I'm more upset that purdue lost to the exact same team we lost to last year when we were #1. it's as if we learned absolutely nothing from our loss last year. and it's like Purdue didn't circle this game as a revenge game and a must win game because of last year. All week all i heard about was the Arizona match and having #1 vs #2. it's as if we did very little preparation for Northwestern and just took them for granted. and that's exactly what purdue has done in the last three NCAA tournaments. they looked ahead and prepared themselves for the tough future opponent, and took the first opponent for granted and lost. we wasted too much time preparing for down the road. we forgot to play each game as if it were our last game.
I don't expect Purdue or any college team to go undefeated. But I do expect teams to learn from their previous losses. Purdue knew what Boo could do. yet, they did not implement a plan to stop him. they had almost a year to plan. But still came up with the wrong plan.

So we should have prepared for a year to beat NW? Relax , as you said it is just one game, learn, improve and move on. Everyone here says all that matters is March and April, so this does not matter at all!I'm not upset that purdue lost. If you go by KenPom, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan State, and Ohio State are all top 23. Purdue has some legitimate competition in the Big Ten.Well there is big 10
