Yeah, there's a lot of UK, U of L, and IU fans down here. But the loss of teeth, the Kentucky accent, and the illiteracy all don't usually start becoming prevalent until you get within 30 or so miles of the bridge crossing into Louisville, Hawesville, or Owensboro.

With Wright's commitment, I think we can put to bed any rumors of our coach leaving for L'ville. No way it's happening. Now, my interest in this bet floating around is this: Was the bet that Petrino would be fired this year, or was it that Brohm would move to L'ville to coach there? I can see Petrino getting fired, but I doubt Brohm leaves Purdue for that dumpster fire.

I know it's tough for you because most of us use three or more syllables in many of our words. If you stick around, I think we can help by making our posts a little more..., well, third grade, I suppose.

Maybe you should use more caution in fencing with some of the folks on this board. I doubt you will find much in the way of low intellect or those lacking in wit. The real question is should any of us expend effort to cast our pearls of wit before you?

@Chapman123 - I've been reading your posts on the Card forum and you seem like an overall swell fellow with a passion and verve for Louisville, just as I have passion and defensiveness for Purdue. Living in this great town (and I do love living here for the past ~18 years), I have to hold my tongue w my friends most of the time, and I choose to rage post on the tronz to vent my frustrations. While it is therapeutic, it is also a character defect of mine that I've battled for a long time. Thankfully I don't drink/drug anymore or I would have probably ended up throwing rocks through your windows...but I digress.

I would never pay a stranger from the internetz real money for some stupid post bet lmao, and of course I wouldn't expect the same from them. That was done in jest and sarcasm, so let's bury that nonsense. The main thing is whether or not Brohm leaves PUR, I couldn't care less about Petrino. Maybe he stays and you hire some top DC/OC to go with and turn things around, maybe his time is done and he's fired, I guess we'll see.

If he's fired I don't envy what you and the fanbase will have to go thru RE the coaching search. They SUCK (if they drag) and it brings out the worst in many (duh), and the negatives of your AD and program will be highlighted and ridiculed (uhhh, yeah). However, I do know the passion and loyalty of the Card fanbase here, and I am sure you will attract a decent coach. UoL is the top dog in this town bar none (even UK fans), and that along with your recent success and new membership in the ACC should help you in the process.

I have a bachelors and a master's degree and I live in a fairly affluent part of Louisville. I went to the same high school as your coach and his brother. However, yes I do hunt and own an ATV. It is one of my favorite hobbies.

When I take cu%t face's money, I mean clean face, I may buy that new savage scout rifle in .308 that I've been wanting.

Did you get those from Louisville Technical Training Institute? University of Phoenix might have been more prestigious.
