What does everyone think of Sheffield leaving?

Interesting comment, but I don't see how college sports is doomed. Rather, it is transitioning, especially football, more so than ever into a version of pro sports.

Doomed as the version I have been used to all of my life. I don't watch much pro sports. Too commercialized for me. If that is what we end up with, I probably won't watch much college sports either.

Difference being that until the NIL a players were only on Scholarship and not an employee and the Coaches were and are salaried employees! Most NIL's are tied to staying at a particular school.

I thought he shouldn’t leave. I also think he likely still wouldn’t start for us.
