I’m wondering if TKR and Smith and even Loyer, go test the nba waters—To get feedback, before making any announcement. Also have the Naismith award on April 11…just throwing it out there.

So Boilers at 11 guys now, 9 of 11 are locked for 95% of PT, so the leftover 5% goes to 10/11, so portal/prefers walk on guys 12-15? know they won’t see game time most likely

That’s same for all schools, so 12-15 are guys just happy to be here at B10 contender or freshman washouts looking for a ride and resurrection

I really like the roster as is right now. I see a national title contender if nobody else leaves, even with no more additions. If anything, I would like to see Painter fill a longer term developmental player need with another young guy with 3+ years of eligibility remaining, but if he is able to go “all in” on the 2026 class, that could be good as well.

Edit - By national title contender I mean that I feel similar right now going into next season as I did going into the 23-24 season when Purdue made it to the championship game, but I don’t know that there is a UConn lurking out there at this point.
