It was indeed a light-hearted joke. I have no problems or ill will towards Keady or Painter. Indiana has the same problem. Assembly Hall has a name and the court is named after McCracken. I know some have said something about naming like the inside of the building as a separate thing from the entire building itself. But they do have the Paint Crew. But maybe they can name the entire seating area the Paint Crew or something.
Do you think Knight is even in a discussion for anything? I know, "optics" and "legacy" and all of that, but it seems odd the guy who is arguably the GOAT coach for IU just becomes a footnote with no tribute.
