He is clearly our best offensive weapon. We bogged down on offense and needed a true frosh to hit big shots for us late as the game got away from us. We needed Kendall desperately-like we did a Penn State. With our bigs getting outworked on the boards and our shooters missing we offered little resistance to an Illinois team HUNGRY for a win....and I feel that Illinois team will finish WELL BELOW .500 in the B10....bad loss IMO. They were not playing with a full deck but played their guts out. We looked disheveled and lazy....

We need to "force" the action and get to the line now...Stephens and Edwards MUST do that or we are doomed...get to the rim...get to the line. Our offense is to horizontal and reliant on relatively unskilled bigs...we miss too many free throws out of the post as well.

This is a desperately incomplete team and w/o a healthy, sharp shooting Stephens, we will fail to make an NIT IMO.

Program is on the ropes..

And if you though Illinois played hard..just wait until you see Iowa...

Are we an NIT team or not...this weekend tells me something about the make-up of this team. So far...unimpressed.
