Just jumped around on the Hokie board a bit, and read the Beamer pressed write-up regarding the game. Maybe he is just heavily reliant on his staff in his age, but he is completely detached from who/what Purdue is or is not. Mentioned that Hazell is in his second year on the job "he thinks," that our RB "Macks" runs pretty hard, and that our QB "really hums it there."
In addition to that, the general consensus from the fans is that this game shouldn't even be close. I'm a fairly skeptical fan relative to our program as of late, but I'm sorry, you (VT) are a mid-tier ACC team as your roster stands right now, and playing another power 5 on the road. Aside from playing a team that is purely inept (maybe us in last few years), you surely shouldn't go into someone's house assuming an easy victory.
I hope we come out and punch some people in the mouth this weekend.
