Completely agree. Plus for that '98 game K-State was ranked #4, was 11-1, and thought they should have been in a BCS game. Auburn is unranked at 8-4. There are much more recent and comparable bowl games we can find.

See, I’ve always felt that that Alamo Bowl win was a bit of payback for the heartbreak in Detroit 10 years prior.

Let’s hope Rondale can make a big mark for next years Heisman, even if the upcoming opponent isn’t quite as lofty as KSU was.
