I would go with the entire starting lineup. They scored every point! What do you think?
Have to go with Haas and Mathias.
Can't be true. T.I.C.Painter coached a hell of a game
He's done that a couple times in a row now at leastPainter coached a hell of a game
eifert did play and received a foul that I'm awareThey were good. I didn't realize Vince played nearly every minute (thought Eifert spelled him for about 30 seconds): http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/boxscore?gameId=400986394
The played well...a lot of good individual play and team victory. This was a big win at a hard place to get wins. It is concerning that as well as Purdue shot and generally played well..AND generally played smart that it wasn't a larger margin. Matt has plenty of things he can work on and one of those is the bigger alignment. If Purdue just plays a good game and just makes some shots (unlike Dakota and Haas), Purdue doesn't survive the onslaught of the boards perhaps...and the drives...I would go with the entire starting lineup. I could have swore Haarms banked one in from the left side. Either way that would still only be 2 bench points.I would go with the entire starting lineup. They scored every point! What do you think?
I think that the shot that you are thinking about went in and out.I could have swore Haarms banked one in from the left side. Either way that would still only be 2 bench points.
Or was it on a foul call and was a continuation? Either way, would love to see some kind of contribution out of the bench points wise.I think that the shot that you are thinking about went in and out.
Ehhh, Maryland likely played their absolute best game seeing as they turned the ball over only 7 times...they averaged 17 up to the game against Purdue. Give Purdue 10 more possessions and the game isn't close. Plus, the refs did all they could to keep Maryland in the game during the first half with 12 FT attempts to Purdue's 2. Maryland hit 9 of those FT's....the game looks much different winding down the first half if Purdue is up 20 and even would look different if Purdue is up 10 instead of 6 at half. I really though the reffing was, at best, inconsistent. The played well...a lot of good individual play and team victory. This was a big win at a hard place to get wins. That was a huge win last night
best post in the last week. Spot on...It’s pretty tough to choose between Dakota and Haas, but for this one game, I thought Haas was outstanding and will go with him.
I also have to acknowledge Vince Edwards for his work on the boards in the second half. If VE doesn’t do the dirty work, Purdue doesn’t hold Maryland off.
Dakota continued doing what Dakota does. He’s been the king of advanced stats this season. Per Sports Reference, he leads the nation in win shares, is third in offensive rating, and is fifth in box plus/minus.
15 point win is pretty big. You must be forgetting about the 10 point spot the home team gets in the B1G.The played well...a lot of good individual play and team victory. I think we saw the youngsters who are most of the bench get thier first experience with yet another level up of intensity, the conference road game.Or was it on a foul call and was a continuation? Either way, would love to see some kind of contribution out of the bench points wise.
yes, the refs were horrible and the score was closer at the end as a result, but still Dakota was on fire and Haas probably had his best total game ever and the others played well. Maryland drove the ball and rebounded...both aggressive aspects. I wasn't surprised with the lack of turnovers on Maryland since Purdue doesn't play the D to do that. Still, if Purdue is not on fire and they still rebound and drive the ball like they did...they will hang around. I was very pleased with the win...pleased with the players generally, but Maryland has the talent to beat some teams...hopefully MSU...Ehhh, Maryland likely played their absolute best game seeing as they turned the ball over only 7 times...they averaged 17 up to the game against Purdue.
