In Brohm's conference today, to no one's surprise, Bell and Karlaftis are going pro. TBD on whether they will play in the bowl game or not. It sure sounded like Brohm is hoping they will play (along with every other Purdue fan).

I found it interesting that O'Connell has not officially told the staff yet whether he is coming back next year or not. I just assumed that he would be, and maybe he still will, I would have thought he would have decided this by now. We will see I guess. We could always pick up Penix, if O'Connell leaves (definite tic)

I thought the most interesting part of the interview is Plummer is still on the team through the bowl game.

I think its admirable he wants to finish the season all the way out, I'm questioning though does it benefit Purdue? Is he still #2 on the depth chart? Does he get reps over Aliamo?

I think Alaimo is getting the majority of the reps. Plummer just gets to dress and take part in bowl festivities.

Again, the kid deserves credit for seeing it through and not being a distraction...and, it is nice that assuming he wants to go with them to the Bowl game, that he has that opportunity.

I admittedly have no idea, but, I would be surprised (very pleasantly) if Alaimo is ultimately better than Allen.

This to me is the kind of nice guy thing Purdue always does.

say Oconnell leaves.. we need reps for alaimo in this game, and honestly we needed them vs Indiana ..

I appreciate plummer but ..

As an Iowa fan…thank god they are leaving !!!!!!! I’m sick of David Bell embarrassing our secondary every year. Karlaftis is a good one too! All kidding aside , they are two players we are glad to not face anymore. Nothing but respect for them.
To be fair.. Terry Wright and anthony mahoungou put in serious work against you guys too… seems it’s an issue wiwith h your D v brohm more than Bell

Bell and Karlaftis aren't Rondale. I bet they play

And if they don’t are you going to take pot shots at them too? Classy.
You must not have heard Brohm mention mid season how much Bell was a warrior who could sit out and wait on draft. He didn’t mention Rondale by name but it seemed like he was implying.

We're talking about the same Rondale Moore who played last year when he didn't have too?
The same Rondale who could have come back in 2019 but didnt (allegedly) and took longer than necessary (allegedly) in 2020.
