Definitely agree. One of the best "pure" shooters I've seen personally play for Purdue. Unfortunately, I never got to see Rick Mount play.
I'm not sure what you mean by a "pure" shooter. If you mean all his appendages were in the right place, Mount was far from pure. If you mean every time he flipped his wrist, the ball went in ... then definitely. Mount could teach pureness, but he was often not pure.

Probably not the best word, DDD, I guess for Rick Mount....consistent/effective for sure....but I defer to my elders. Great game, today.

It is a fine word, just can mean different things. Mount was beyond most words - first HS athlete to get on the cover of Sports Illustrated. He was in range with one step over the high school 1/2 court line.
