Yes I'm a Libertarian, and I'm for truth. The Left claims Trump wanted the riot and that he didn't come out against it until it was far too late. This video debunks that completely.
@PurdueFan1 The point of the video is that he was telling people to go home at 1pm. I don't GAF about the rest of the video.
That’s the thing. You rile them up with brimstone and fire comments at the start and you think his comments at the end absolve him? That’s not how it works.
Him and people like Schiff and Pelosi are killing this country. There tit for tat is enraging the population and making the country a combustion chamber of nonsense.
I never said it absolved him. Where did I say that? The point is that this video debunks a narrative about him and the Left media knows it, but that doesn't stop them from pushing that narrative, like they did on so many narratives about him.
I agree. I think he needs to stop the stolen election rhetoric. Gotta remember though, this was Jan 6, so he still believed it was true. I'm sure he still does, but it's not doing him any good at this point.
I wish Trump would stop with the stolen election whining. If it was truly stolen, prove it. If not, shut the hell up and work on beating Biden and the Ds. The problem is he will not stop with looking backwards.
He riled up the crowd on January 6th, acted like he was going to walk to the Capitol with them and then discretely walked “exit stage right” and got the hell out of there. We all know what transpired next…..He is culpable for inciting the crowd.
In many ways what Pelosi, Schumer, and Schiff did was worse than what Trump did. They always talk about “The Big Lie”, but they repeatedly lied while Trump was in office and twice tried to impeach him based on false pretenses. Russia, Russia, Russia. It’s pathetic what they drug the country through based on a bullshit dossier, funded by the DNC and the Clinton campaign.

Where do you see it was released at 4:17? He sent a tweet out at 4:17 (not a video) but that was removed once his account was removed.
I think this is what was posted around the time of the video too.

I have to chuckle about the fact that some random person tweets something and then you come post it here like it’s true without bothering to look into it, especially since, in another discussion from a couple weeks ago, you literally linked one of the timelines to try to defend Trump, so I know you’ve seen them.
Although, maybe I'm being too harsh on JMAN, maybe he actually is a reliable source despite not apparently having any accurate knowledge. I mean, he was good enough for Trump to use him as a source:

Something else seemed odd about your use of 1 PM in this post. In our other discussion, when you were trying to argue that when you said "into the building" you didn't think people would understand that to mean "into the building," you copied text from the NPR timeline that says:
1 PM - An initial wave of protesters storms the outer police barrier around the Capitol.
1:05 PM - House Speaker Nancy Pelosi bangs the gavel to call the joint session of Congress to order.
Shortly after that, Trump ends his speech.
So, if he was still speaking until shortly after 1:05 PM, how could he possibly have released this video telling people to go home at 1 PM? It seems your desire to defend Trump's actions that day has even put you in conflict with yourself.
I agree. I got the timeline from a source I generally trust, but also know that people get things wrong. I'm asking questions, but not getting answers.
@Droid12345 Scratch that. The source I got it from didn't say it was uploaded at 1:00. The video is a minute long and I confused the two. The minute marker is labeled as 1:00.
