The "it was a blown call BUT..." lines are nonsense.

Anytime people say one thing, followed by "BUT", means that everything said before the word "BUT" is complete b.s.

It was a blown call. It likely cost Purdue the game.

It's been addressed.

It's over (which doesn't mean squat).

No ifs, ands, or buts.

You sure you don't mean butts?
I'm sure some butts were chewed on behind the scenes. As other people have mentioned before this "event", good refs call hand checking early in games to set the tone. They don't call a ticky-tacky call at the ass end of games deciding the outcomes.
