Dang. That’s a good hire and yet another coaching improvement in the BigTen. Good thing we’re loading up because it won’t get easier…
Yeah that seems like a good fit for both parties. Bad for us, good for the conference/corporation (lol).
Gotta wonder what their roster will look like next year. Granted they had 5 scholarship players this season who barely played so we don't even know what they could do.

And Buzz had a very senior-laden roster at TAMU so you can't expect anyone of note to follow him.

It's an interesting question. It's at best a sideways move. He was formerly at Virginia Tech, is he from the area? Easier to win after what happened in the SEC this year? I don't know, but Buzz was already throwing his hat into the Maryland ring before the ring was officially on the table.
In today’s landscape, I would imagine there’s more money at A&M than Maryland. Something must have gone south for him to make this move.
While he’s had some success at each stop, Buzz seems to wear out his welcome. Knows when it’s time to jump ship for another opportunity.
Solid hire by MD, but if their department’s projected Revenue sharing model that Willard grumbled about on his way out the door aren’t addressed, their may be issues to come. Willard really was PO’d at the interim AD, who wouldn’t let his team stay an extra night in NYC during the holidays. Definitely didn’t want to work for her in case she got the full time gig.
