Team USA in Gold Medal Game tomorrow

With Vincent Edwards leading the way, Team USA dominated Serbia 93-61 to advance to the Gold Medal Game tomorrow, August 29. Continued the good shooting from deep with only 11 turnovers, which many came late in the contest with the reserves. Good trends......can the Edwards' continue leading Team USA through the championship? One more day.....it's been a great experience for the Boilers so far.

Lithuania outlasted Latvia 77-75 to also advance.

Game is scheduled for 8:00 local time, 8:00 am Eastern time in Taipei Arena.

Well, according to the sportingnews article, Serbian team had many top tier league professional players on the team. Anyone knew the make up of players for tomorrow's opposing team?

I am curious about make up of Israel team as well.

How would you rate the competition Purdue has had to play so far? I guess comparing them to NCAA teams

Certainly the pool play teams were not so good. Israel was closer to NCAA teams 4 to 6 seeds. Perhaps due to international rules, games were out of control in ways that fouls were somewhat loosely called. That may be due to shot clock difference.

Serbia looked like step below, largely due to fatigue. Reminded me of Umich against Boilers in 2016 BIG games.

Yep.....
