Just read the blurb on the front page about our scrimmage. While it doesn't count, it was very encouraging to see adjustments made at halftime that led to such a explosion. Much credit to CMP and the team.

And especially to Taylor who appears to be poised to make an impact this year and credit to the poster that called this out months ago:
Continuing his strong play, Jacquil Taylor came off the bench to grab 12 rebounds in 16 minutes. \

Taylor was huge. Haas went 7for 7! V Edwards had a huge night. Outside 3point shooting was probably the only area that needs a little work as we shot 30%. But that's why it's good to play a scrimmage to get accustomed to the ball and facilities.

And that's also why it's good to have both an inside and outside presence.

did Taylor get any medical RS's from any of the past 2 seasons?

I was thinking that technically you had to first exhaust your eligibility before applying for a medical redshirt to extend your eligibility (even if it was clear you met all the requirements, etc.). But when I googled I did find this article, which states the NCAA already gave him a medical hardship waiver to return 1 year of eligibility to him. I don't know what the requirements are to get the rare 6th year, but I think that would be a separate request filed at the end of his current eligibility.

I thought Taylor received two medical hardship waivers. I'm uncertain. I do know he has eligibility for this year and next year, and that's it.

It is my understanding...he redshirted, received one medical hardship and has this year and next to play.

CMP said they may ask for a second medical hardship but will decide that later.

IMO, all JT needs is this year and next to fine tune and showcase his value as far as pro potential....he will graduate by then so no need to apply.

Boiler Up.
