Talking heads towards Oct. 10th start

Will be interesting in the next few days to 1-2 weeks to see if news breaks or not. All in for an early October start.

Yeah, I would rely on someone on Twitter who is so plugged in and knowledgeable the only place he can get a job is on a podcast he created over the "F*** No" from an actual source in the paper that broke the story originally (https://www.freep.com/story/sports/...esident-donald-trump-michigan-msu/5687054002/). Y'all get that people throw stuff at the wall on twitter so that they can claim they are right if it is true but just pretend the 99.99% of the time they are wrong did not happen, right? Dakich is the king of this. You may want to go spend two seconds on Eleven Warriors before you quote Siryacht.

I'm keeping an eye out for developments. I'm not saying they are true, however, the pundits usually are plugged in such as Dan Patrick. If this does go to vote by the University Presidents, it will be interesting if there are changes.

I would make one correction: It won't be "interesting", at all. It will be further evidence which is causing me to increasingly believe this COVID reaction is nothing more than a political sh*t show.

One last link for tonight: Inaccurate info caused the panic among the Presidents. "Dr. Sebastianelli says, my Bad"
https://footballscoop.com/news/on-myocarditis-and-the-big-ten/

Note: At the very bottom of the article Michael Ackerman MD, PhD from Mayo Clinic Genetic Cardiologist weighs in at 2:13 pm this afternoon and throws the RED FLAG and says no way 30-35 % of Athletes with COVID-19 have myocarditis.

I'm anticipating a vote tomorrow from the B1G Presidents to end this saga of a shit show for No B1G sports. We'll see what Friday brings. Brings back the memories of Heinz commercial with ANTICIPATION is keeping me waiting. LOL

When I read the article, and saw the claim that 30-35% of athletes with COVID have myocarditis, my bullsh*t detector was pegged at "max".

Well, what is it? Is it 30%, or 35%? Or, is it 33.4%?

No scientist should state something so lazily. If it's 33.4%, then state it's 33.4%. Or, maybe just 33%.

For a doctor or scientist to make such a statement is telling.

EDIT:
Holy crap... this is numbnuts-level on the stupidity scale.

"...(Dr. Sebastianelli) recalled preliminary data that had been verbally shared by a colleague on a forthcoming study, which unbeknownst to him at the time had been published at a lower rate. The research was not conducted by Dr. Sebastianelli or Penn State."

Sorry, guys, my bad. I heard it from someone who heard that someone's cousin had completed a study, then I pulled a percentage out of my @ss to make something sound worse than it truly is.

I have to ask, “A multi-billion dollar sports industry didn’t cross check with 3 or 5 heart specialists across the US for their views to come to a consensus?” Where is MARK EMMERT!? Did Kevin Warren do his due diligence to present this to the Presidents and Chancellors? The buck has to stop at someone’s head for not doing due diligence! Nobody including Mitch Daniels didn’t push hard for a 2 week pause button to gather more info. Instead, it was hard stop, won’t re-visit, draw the line in the sand, Spring Sports. Poor Leadership skills when it called for critical thinking and further action. ACC and SEC benefitted from B1G and PAC-12 lack of leadership.
