Great pick for those of us who want some guardrails on Trump. She and LaCivita ran a great campaign. She was able to keep trump focused better than anyone else has in his political career. She will have tremendous influence on his appointments and cabinet selections. Less chance of unqualified ass kissers getting in critical positions. And she knows what she's getting into having worked closely with trump during the campaign unlike his COSs in his previous admin. Hope she can stay awhile.

She won’t. Unless she is a total yes woman, I give her 1 year and she will be either fired or will resign. During Chump’s last administration scores of folks in the WH and cabinet were fired or resigned. And if they are bunch of ring kissin yes people, that is going to be dangerous as they are going to advise Chump on what he wants to hear, not what he needs to hear. This is because of his management style of running things like Cosa Nostra.

There's no way she's there 4 years but few Chief of Staffs are. If she's there two years that would be a lot.

Couple of differences here. Trump knows her and she knows trump. While the relationship may fracture at some point, she has a pretty good idea of what he's like.

She's also been around the block and is the definition of tough broad. She has some skeletons but that comes with the territory and her experience. She's not going to be a yes woman like most of the other candidates for the job. You need to look at the big picture here.

Yeah if Chump allows her to tell him no or advise him to go to another direction then it can work. I’ll believe it when I see it. This goes with the cabinet also.

You realize she "controlled" Trump by instituting a "Let Trump be Trump" policy and not controlling him.

That said, by all accounts a great choice as she has a history of getting things done.

No, no she didn't. The last couple weeks he went off script, and I'm not talking about at his rallies. But before that trump stayed on message pretty well. But yeah, some of the message was TBT but some wasn't. It was still by design.

Several times at the end of the campaign you heard him say something to the effect of "They don't want me to say that." That was trump being trump and going off script.

Lewandowski was brought in and tried to go back to that strategy, as well as get some power for himself and turn trump against some of the staff. Susie shut that and him down pretty quickly.

It's been well reported by many that yes, that's exactly what she did because she recognized Trump is really good at connecting with people so why would she try and stifle it.

This is who I've always been. You're too busy hating lefty libs, staying generally pissed off and being obsessed with tds and mean tweets to notice. You can't see things or people for what they are when you're convinced and consumed by your overwhelming partisanship that anybody who isn't for trump is a progressive nitwit.

I don't know about progressive but you are a nitwit.

Trump cannot possibly put together a worse Cabinet than Biden:

Sec of Energy Jennifer Granholm - In college she majored in Political Science and French. Zero experience with the energy industry.
Sec of Transportation Mayor Pete - Former mayor of South Bend.
Climate Czar - Swift Boat Kerry.
Border Czar - Kamala Harris.

Trump cannot possibly put together a worse Cabinet than Biden:
Chump's cabinet was all jacked up. He had a neurosurgeon as Sec of HUD. Education Sec with no public education experience whatsoever. Plus scores of cabinet and administration folks either resigned or were fired.

She ran Trumps campaign for the last 12+ months

Ring-kissing Yes people are better than a senile zombie who can't even run a Cabinet meeting. Are you aware that Joe's wife Jill ran the last Biden Cabinet meeting? Joe sat in a chair, drooling on himself. Then she went to a party in the Rose Garden and hosted that, too. Joe was a no-show in the Rose Garden.

Still waiting for you to answer my question of which cabinet choices of Joe's you think have been effective.

Can you name even one that has been effective ? Nobody has been fired, not even the DHS hack, so Joe must think they are all at least adequate.

In fairness, there was a new supply of ice cream in the WH kitchen that Joe was focused on - at least as much as he can focus on something.

What's all jacked up is when you have people in a cabinet that are terrible at their job and you let them stay (Biden hasn't fired a single person!). It's astounding to me that because Trump actually had the audacity to fire people that were bad at their job (or were war hawks) that somehow that means Trump is a dictator. You are completely unable to see the manufactured narratives at all.

Didn’t Chump say and bragged that he hires the best people.

Anyway, Chump fired them because they weren’t Flavor Aiders. Similar to the ones that resigned. For example, the cyber security dude. After the 2020 election he said that it was the most secure election in the history of the US. He was fired after that. After Jan 6, Alano and Haley resigned. I can see 1 or 2 folks not doing their job and get fired. But there were scores of folks that resigned under Chump. How many chief of staffs did he go through. Good gracious.

Of course he did. He says stupid things. That's nothing new.

Wrong. The people that left and that were fired were people that are part of the problem. Part of the machine that we the people want to dismantle. Stop listening to those people. They are poisoning your brain.

Just like how the Democrats are saying Trump is a threat to democracy, yet they yuck it up at some dinner. You don't do that with someone that you really believe is a threat to democracy.

But...but..but...he supposedly hires the best people, right. Wasn't he supposed to "drain the swamp". If so, why did he hire the so-called swamp rats. That's his fault.

What was wrong with Kirstjen Nielsen the Head of the Dept of Homeland Security? She seemed to be doing her job but she resigned. This can be said with most of the others that were fored or resigned Dude it's the Cosa Nostra management style that doesn't jive with running the US government.

I predict that over the next 4 years, we have a great economy, low unemployment, strong domestic energy production, lower taxes, global stability and a more secure border.
How he gets us there and with whom doesn’t matter.
