Well here we go again. Paying athletes has officially started. Of course it is nicely packaged to look like it is just providing a few extra $ for these poor under appreciated athletes but the war has officially begun. It will be interesting to look at this over the next ten years or so to see if it can be managed or it it just becomes another way for the upper tier schools (Financially) to get yet another advantage. If the Big article is correct tight @@s Purdue will be at the bottom of the Big in what they pay which is significantly less than even iu. This is not a surprise to anyone on this board I am sure. Anyone have any comments??
