Stanford 38 - L Ville 35

Have to admit I enjoyed seeing it. But he's gone and never coming back even if things don't work out at Louisville.
I’d take him in a heartbeat. He’s still got a minimum of 2 years there though and they likely finish with 7-8 wins.

We’d love to be there right now instead of circling the toilet bowl.

Time to move on though and hopefully select our next coach here in a few weeks!

Whether I'd take him back or not is a hypothetical I don't indulge. I will say I wish he hadn't left but he did and his family couldn't get themselves to Louisville fast enough. They would never come back here anyway. Both sides would have to swallow way too much pride even if the stars otherwise aligned.

Familiar loss today by them.

Beat a ranked team on the road then shit the bed vs a team you should never lose to.

No way we should even consider it. I'm hearing from some fans there calling for his head others saying they are giving him one more year. I'm not a fan after what he did here, but they are nuts. You need to give someone a chance to get their players in place and Brohm has a proven track record. They could do a lot worse than Brohm. We know.

On the surface and by the ratings he’s not a good recruiter. That said…looking at our roster now…who are the best players?

They certainly aren’t the recruits and transfers that Walters brought in. How many good players did Walters chase off just because they didn’t fit his system?

Brohm knows how to build a team. They’ll always be decent. They’ll always knock off more talent teams. They’ll seemingly always lose a head scratcher or two to less talented teams as well.

In the end, Brohm gets too much shit for going to his dream job. It’s not like he ditched us for IU or a lesser program. He was loyal a lot longer than he had to be, cleaned up Hazells mess and we saw a lot of fun football.
