With Wilson out we need DT's badly. There is Neal, but who is the other? Maybe move Robinson over? There are a couple DT's on the roster, but none that are starter material. We keep offering DE's, which we need, but more pressing is the DT position. There are so many holes on the roster it's ridiculous. We need LB's as well. We'll have a solid starting 3 next year, but little as far as backups go, and then Bentley and Ez graduate then all we really have is Bailey. Desperate times and not enough good jucos or scholarships to right the ship.this could be why I saw Purdue send out 4 offers in the last 24 hours. They offered a 3/4 * DE today who was committed to UCF.
would it be Zio or Owens?this could be why I saw Purdue send out 4 offers in the last 24 hours. They offered a 3/4 * DE today who was committed to UCF.

what happened to Cook? I thought he was a good prospect. I'd like to see CJB get Juwaun Jones to flip to us.From the purdue roster these guys are gone:
Cooper
Rose
Wilson
Wyatt Cook
That's 4 I know of.
Patterson is still listed as well as Roberts.
I think Norwood is gone as well based on Purdue's spring roster on purduesports.comFrom the purdue roster these guys are gone:

thought Cook got a DUI at point. Could be mistaking him for someone else.Essentially have to move Gelen inside. I'd move Daniels back to DL. You have Watts, Neal, Criddle and a few older guys who haven't played. Need some Juco DT's. Cook was in trouble a few times since joining the team.
If true that's too bad. Thought he did a decent job this year especially after being a WR most of his time at Purdue.I think Norwood is gone as well based on Purdue's spring roster on purduesports.com
I could see Daniels moving to DL. I would have hope that Keiwan Jones would have been ready by now for some PT.Essentially have to move Gelen inside. I'd move Daniels back to DL. Moving Daniels back to DL will not help anything. He has never got a snap anywhere that I'm aware.I could see Daniels moving to DL. I would have hope that Keiwan Jones would have been ready by now for some PT.

Ok, you got me, but he is still not going to all of the sudden become a starter on the DL or even a major contributor. We have some serious issues if he does. JMO.Snaps at the end of the ISU game in 2015

Attrition is normal in a coaching turnover
I thought one guy transferred. Armstead williams. Could have been before that though.Minus Hope to Hazell. Isn't it true we didn't lose a single player during that transition?
when Tiller got in charge, weren't there like 18 players gone from the roster.I thought one guy transferred. Armstead williams. Could have been before that though.

Well look at it this way, if you have one of the worst teams in college football the last 4 years, based on record and a few other stats, let guys go who want to, and use those scholarships for new players. What I find strange is that they stayed when the program was the worst ever, and now there is a new coach with a lot of optimism of a better team and they leave. Lets get the program back to where it should be.
I recall an article in the Lafayette J-C entitled "Is 17 enough?". It went on to explain that a typical football Saturday for Colletto's players was:It was certainly double digits
