Some truly entertaining whining in this IU Star piece

Name me the ranked team Georgia beat.....Not to mention, Wisconsin was ranked 16th and favored when IU beat them.
Tenn#16, Auburn #10 and possibly Mizzou #25.At least they play a ranked opponent at the end of the year with a winning record.

There are 3 teams in the Big Ten with winning record besides IU. Those teams would still have a winning record even if IU had played and beaten them. Two of those teams were not on the schedule and the third was a loss. That is why people are saying the schedule is a factor. Overall, really good season, but not top 10 body of work. Honestly, the CFP ranking is rather irrelevant unless you are a team legitimately in the discussion for the CFP. Whatever slim hopes IU had went down the drain with the decision to send OSU to the BTCG. So, 8th, 12th, 15th, whatever. It's just a number now.

Definitely worked out in IU’s favor this weekend as it would be a victory over a Purdue team that would likely hurt IU in that ranking.

You beat Purdue and the committee drops you 5 spots. Hell, just playing Purdue likely drops IU two spots. You are right. It’s just a number.

Wait what? I was just told Indiana’s wins over Penn St and Michigan don’t count because they’re no longer ranked? Tennessee is now 2-7 and Auburn 5-4 and unranked. It’s a two way street.

It actually helps you because when Purdue would have beaten IU, you would have dropped pretty far so it worked out well for you. Now you won’t be conflicted between rooting for Notre Dame or IU in playoff

Yep and can’t wait until Iowa Beats them next week. If IU is able to play. 6-2. Then beat in bowl game and 6-3. Calling it now. Also Iowa will beat Wisconsin this week. So them all of IU’s great top 25 wins will be teams that have a losing record.

I'm with ya!!

You’re the kind of guy whose bet against IU every week and scratches his head as to why he’s lost so much money, aren’t you?

He bet the over in the OSU game as he was a little worried when it was 35-7. Glad, the bucks laid off the pedal. So IU could score some points 😉

Not trying to change minds, but to supplement the conversation, out of the four teams in the B1G with winning records (OSU, IU, Iowa, & NW), only two of them have a victory over a team that also has a winning record, OSU (IU) & NW (Iowa).

I guess it makes sense that the 2 best teams in each division are playing each other in the championship.

It`s amazing how The Big 10 is always having a down year when their Indiana Members are winning football games!!?
