Some Positive Thoughts about Vince

Exactly.... I don't understand this whole thread. Can't both contribute and be positive difference making Boilers? Do frosh now have to be better than seniors?
I took issue with the assertion that Wheeler is going to be a "more athletic Vince". I don't see Wheeler being as skilled as Vince was coming into his freshman year, not to mention the fact that he has a lot smaller frame. If he can put on 35 pounds of muscle and develop the same skill level, then he will be better than VE. I am taking a wait and see approach with that proposition right now.

Sorry guys, but I think it is a bit of a far stretch to pass judgments on a kid who hasn't yet played or practiced at the college level. Both those who tout him to be "more athletic" or those who say "weaker" than any current player make me just shake my head. Let's give the kid a chance to get into the college game before anointing or dismissing him.

Yes I know you continue to regurgitate that point.

Athleticism is athleticism regardless of competition. The kid can jump and will bet that his vertical is greater than Vince's.
I never said he wasn't more athletic than Vince. So was Jacob Lawson. So was Hanner Perea. What's your point?
