14 assists too.....even though his shot wasn't quite falling, IF he takes good shots - that's fine and what Painter wants. Just don't make questionable or risky decisions on either end of the floor.

But yeah - no way many would think with Smith getting just 8 that Purdue would still obliterate Nebraska.

When Purdue gets that kind of effort, energy, and shooting - they will be a handful for a lot of teams......and that kind of defense travels. Really interested to see how they play W and next Sunday.

He does, and Smith got credited with one to CJ after the tie-up - for Purdue's initial basket, 2-0, Purdue's smallest lead for the game. They trailed for 17 seconds.
