Actually, Stormy paid attorney's fees to Trump for a failed defamation suit; not because a court decided he din't sleep with her and not because a court decided he didn't pay her hush money through Cohen.

However, it's not much of a crime in any event, even if it's a technical violation of the law. One of those 'plea it down to community service' type deals.

It's more of a window into the company Stormy and Donald keep. A porn star affair while Melania is home with baby Barron with Michael Cohen in the wings is not a good look, kinda Bill Clinton-esque, but with a heavy dose of "let's try to get the crazies to blow shit up!"
