Pretty sure I saw him in the game yesterday, but I dont think I saw him targeted once. Not sure what was up with that.

I think the most disappointing takeaway from yesterday's game is the dismal offensive game plan.
You can say that about the last 2 games actually
Iowa did what wisky did. Not many teams remaining can rush 4 and get pressure
And Brohm played right into it. He had a guy getting 7 yards a carry, but handed the ball to him a whopping 14 times...including zero handoffs at the 3 yard line...
That’s what’s wrong with this team. OConnell has to look elsewhere at least on some percentage of plays
He isnt built to run the ball. Any time he gets stressed, he starts chucking it.
Sheffield had maybe 4 targets, all down the left side and only one that was reasonably catchable. It was a microcosm of O'Connell's day. Too many low percentage passes.
It would interesting to see if at some point Bobinski starts questioning his play calling. Because I don't think I've seen a series of worse plays called from the 3 yard line than I did yesterday. We'll never know.
But you'd think at some point Brohm would internalize some of the critiques he gets from the media in post game interviews, and then maybe listen and learn from it? Or is his ego just too big to take criticism?
Jones was targeted 20 times! I believe that’s about 10 times too many! The Iowa defense knew exactly was the play was going to be and how to defend it.

...and Mockobee RARELY loses yards...
Targeted a few times, the one target before halftime was a sure touchdown. Ran a great route and blew by the defender but the safety got called for holding (smart move on his part) because Purdue ended up blowing it a few plays later and settled for a field goal.
