Selection Sunday thread

Big 10 refs may be bad, but they have been consistently bad for the past 20 years. It’s time coaches, players and fans realize this.

Rather than complaining about the officiating, teams need to incorporate it into their game planning. How far in advance do coaches know who the ref is going to be?

More fouls in first 7 minutes of second half than in entire first half.

Typical B1G refs.

Quintessentially - call it entirely different in the second half for a trip to Whistle City. Have seen it countless times over the years, and not just with Purdue.

Also - big surprise - High Knees part of this crew.

Bubble teams are safe.

The rims at Gainbridge are not.

Been a while since I've seen both teams shoot that horrendously - Michigan looking like they will take it.

And again, Exhibit A why it's difficult to trust any Big Ten team this year - maybe the Badgers got it out of their system?

I'm leaning to just flipping Purdue and Michigan now. At least on my bracket it's an easy flip.

Interestingly (or not....), Joey Brackets did the opposite late last night - switching Purdue back to a 4 from a 5, and Michigan to a 5 from a 4. Wonder if he'll "sneak" one more in under the wire as a crystal ball move?

Top half of that South Region is really interesting - ACC I guess dragged on Louisville (#8?). A & M/Michigan is a possible 2nd round game, and now Michigan State as the #2 in the bottom half, Iowa State #3.....some potential slugfests if seeds hold.

High Point - Net #82
They played 1 Quad 2 game all year and zero quad 1 games. Really hard to evaluate a team that plays a schedule like that.
