would like to know how much time Taylor got. Minutes for so many will tell more as well...Here's a tidbit more information I found from a Dayton fan on one of their message boards (UD Pride):
"Purdue won 84-74
Purdue Freshman, Caleb Swanigan had 15 pts and 14 boards. Also, Vince Edwards (Who I believe we recruited) had 20 points.
I have not seen any stats on UD players but sounds like we got beat up inside"
That's good to know and a healthy start for this team, especially with Hammons and Smotherman not playing. Does anyone know why A.J. didn't play?

not crucial since Vince can play the four effectively...I just want to get the cobwebs out of Jacquil's game. Now IF he is a better fit at the 4 than Vince THAT is wonderful!!!!!!same here
With Smotherman redshirting, Jacquil is essentially Swanigan's backup at the 4 (assuming that Edwards is starting at the 3).

Wonderful and highly unlikely.
Based on the scrimmage & last year, I think we'd go small with Ray at the 4 if both Biggie & Vince had to sit (also unlikely) for some reason.
I agree with youWonderful and highly unlikely.

AND I agree with you! wouldn't THAT be wonderful!I hope Jacquil can prove you wrong, haha.
Drop Taylor and Weatherford and I think you have your nine man rotation. Possibly drop Cline as well if you prefer an 8 man rotation.Without Smotherman, this is how I view the depth chart right now for the scholarship players (parentheses for situational use):
1 Hill/Thompson/Weatherford/(Mathias)/(Edwards)
2 Davis/Mathias/Stephens/Cline/(Edwards)
3 Edwards/(Davis)/(Stephens)
4 Swanigan/Taylor/(Edwards)
5 Hammons/Haas/(Swanigan)/(Taylor)

Okay. I miscounted. It would be a 10 man rotation sans Taylor and Weatherford and 9 without Cline as well.
There is no way that KS is 3rd string at the 2 and 3!Without Smotherman, this is how I view the depth chart right now for the scholarship players (parentheses for situational use):

IMHO KS is a much better player than DM, just look at the stats!I don't think that he's a better all-around player than Davis or Mathias, do you?
Ya there seems to be a huge love fest for Dakota that isn't really warranted. Hey was a decent player but not particularly impressive. Nice role player but not the kind of player you would ever want to be "the man" on your team. Hopefully Kendall steps up his consistency because I think his ceiling is a lot higher than Dakota's.IMHO KS is a much better player than DM, just look at the stats!
