I saw a few threads state the alloted team size increased to 15. Does that mean all 15 may suit up for a game?

Some older or smaller stadiums where seating is a premium will be challenged to sit 15 players + coaches.

Next season should be fun.

That's why you get reservations. :)

Better get the "holding" too.

I'm guessing most teams had at least 15 rostered players already. Didn't we have 17 with the walk-ons? The difference is there aren't walk-ons anymore, at least that's how I understand it.

Issue is not settled yet.

"On Wednesday, U.S. District Judge Claudia Wilken ordered attorneys for the NCAA and other parties involved in the House v. NCAA settlement to revisit what it says about roster limits and tweak how they’ll be implemented."

Guess we'll know more......tomorrow.

God help us if the courts are involved. The NCAA had one job to do and it has failed miserably, though I suspect they feel their hands are tied. They just need to come out and state what the rules are to ensure an equitable playing field across their governance. NIL, transfer portals, and trans players are a disaster and ruining college athletics.

The ncaa rolls over whenever there’s a court case. They seem to be content to let college sports burn to the ground 😂

15 scholarship players isn't new. It wasn't that long ago that the NCAA had a limit of 15 scholarships, then changed it to 12 when there was concern of the blue bloods "stockpiling" players. Transfer rules were very much in favor of the schools, disincentivizing platers who wanted more playing time at another school. With the portal, that all has changed and the blue bloods are no longer able to hold on to their players any more than the non-blue bloods. Any team that has 15 players on scholarship is almost certain to experience high turnover.
