This is not true. It may have been agreed upon, but it wasn’t involuntary.

Evaluation may have opened his eyes, but why wait past end of semester? If coaches were aiming for a portal transfer and he was not tabbed starter or backup, there is no need to wait around if he truly wants to play. Should have left in May at the latest vs going past July 1st which cost him a whole year of having to sit.

If he has to sit another year due to transfer after July 1st, he’ll be in a 6 or 7 yr college program. Hope he gets a Master’s degree somewhere.

James is making decisions that will haunt him for the rest of his life. He has the talent but the upbringing off field issues are very hard to get away from. It’s one of those scenarios when it could for either way in life. Hopefully he finishes school at some point and doesn’t end up in a very bad spot. Hopefully he gets away from the state of indiana completely.

King Doerue is better than people think and I think he will be the main guy regardless of James or not James. Doerue just needs Dale to do well. But Callaway is back so much that’s good.
