Please give me some examples of Trump being racist. Please don't use Charlottesville unless you use the entire clip as we all know there is more to it than the short version. Also didn't Trump see to it that the HBCU's received more federal money than any other president?

- Chump put a full page ad in the paper to bring back the death penalty for the Central Park 5 who were later exonerated.

- A Chump casino had to pay $200,000 in fines because it transferred Black and women dealers off tables to accommodate a big-time gambler’s prejudices.

- Chump in 2016 that Judge Gonzalo Curiel who was overseeing the Trump University lawsuit — should recuse himself from the case because of his Mexican heritage. Not only is this judge and I are from the same hometown in NW Indiana, he went to the same high school that I did. We are about 10 years apart.
- Chump told black and brown members of "The Squad" are “from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe” and that they should “go back” to those countries. 3 of these women were born and raised in the US. The 4th legally immigrated to the US as a young teenager.
- Chump called the kneeling black NFL players sons of bitches.
As far as Chump and the HBCU'S, all he did was sign a veto pool proof bill. This bill was drafted by a black congresswoman, Alma Adam's. Passes bi-partisan in both houses. Naturally, Chump takes full credit for it.

Robert Byrd was an old school Dixiecrat. He filibustered and did not vote for the voting rights and civil rights bills in 1964 and 1965. He went on to apologize for his KKK involvement. He even voted for the 2nd Civil Rights Bill in 1968. He then later became an advocate for civil rights. The NAACP even gave Byrd a 100% approval rating. He even worked to secure funding for the Martin Luther King National Memorial.
Seems like that would qualify her to be a vice president in the Democrat regime.

Nope, unlike others Byrd denounced his past trangressions. If Byrd was good enough for the NAACP he would have been forgiven. Particularly if he continued to support the civil rights issues. Particularly if he would have supported the current John Lewis bill that is on the table that Manchin and Sinema are holding up.

A strong argument can be made that various social programs, including welfare, have kept blacks dependent on gov't. If you are old enough to have witnessed it go down since the mic-60's (I am) you can see it. Good intentions, but many unforeseen effects.
I knew a lot of kids in grade school and junior high that were on welfare and were in the free lunch program. These kids were poor and really needed the help. Welfare had good intentions but once you qualify and get into the program I can see how it can be hard to get out.
