He had another great game after his record setting performance last week. This week he had 18 receptions for 242yds and 3 TD's.

Although I have not read anything from him publicly indicating that he may flip, I do hope the rumor is true and that he is giving us a look see. I would love to see this kid playing for us next year.

It can't hurt that Brohm's dad is the QB coach at Trinity. We definitely need to take advantage of that situation in the coming years!

As a quarterback or receiver, why wouldn't you want to play for Brohm? Offensive genius who whips the ball around and is not afraid to use trick plays. It is fun as heck to watch; it must be even more fun as a player. It's been a while since we have seen this kind of speed.

he could be visiting as a courtesy to his dad. however, once he's here, it is up to Brohm to sell him the deal. I have a gut feeling we'll open up our passing attack a lot more this weekend.

It's not a courtesy visit lol.

I hope we have several recruits coming for this game. In addition to Moore & Karlaftis, I hope Coach Brohm has some of the other top in state 2019 recruits; WR David Bell, WR Bryce Kirtz, WDE Beau Robbins, OLB Jack Kiser, and others in attendance.

I would be surprised if Robbins doesn't go to osu

I read somewhere that him (Robbins) and his entire family are ND fans. After reading that I figured they are the ones to beat for him but that is just based on one article that I read. Still, it's not over until the fat lady sings.

247 Crystal Ball has him as 71% Purdue, even though he's still officially committed to UT.

Purdue just needs to win or being highly competitive. He knows what Brohm wants to do and is already impressed. Purdue is a lot closer than Texas and if they are on the way to being good...that will be enough I suspect. Link at top now projects 100% Purdue FWIW

what about that DE from the Indy area we were after, can't remember his name ( Norris?) or Lilly, Bussell, Scales.

Madison Norris from HSE. I was hoping we would get him, but the last thing I read on him he mentioned about 5 or 6 schools and we weren't one of them so I don't know if he is interested in us still or not. He also stated that he did not mind going away from home to play so who knows. Maybe someone else has more info.

I think the biggest factor is a full stadium. If Ross Ade is hopping Saturday, the kids will leave with a very positive impression.
Already expected to be sold out. The face that it is homecoming makes it even better. Too bad the sun won't dip down earlier as getting UM under the lights would have been awesome. Might still get to turn them on and if Purdue is in the game late, it'll make for a great scene.

Agreed - a good night game with a full stadium is the ultimate recruiting environment.

We're definitely still in the mix for Norris.

If CJB is able to land Moore this year and follow up with Bell the following year. He will have arguably the best 1-2 combo of WRs in the B1G when they are JR and Soph. Once of the best 1-2s in the country.

We are still in mix, I'm a few years ahead of he was in highschool at his school. He's playing the wait and see approach with each school before he commits. He is definitely weighing his options. Purdue is by no means close to leading, however we are still in the hunt at this point in time.

A Full and Loud Stadium, both teams throwin' Haymakers all day long. Recruits will eat that up!!
Come to Purdue, too all those that have been overlooked and forgotten, you will help to turn Purdue into Champions!

Who's ahead of Purdue for him?

Purdue is starting to get some love from the Indy media so I am hoping the Indy recruits take notice. There is a new excitement and kids are drawn to that.

If you have watched the first three games we went from having zero receiving prospects who were untested and had very little experience, to a whole stable of young men who have bought into Coach B's system. Running great routes, finding spaces in zone coverages and just simply burying their heads in their play books to make them understand all the ins and outs of Brohm's system. With all do respect this staff has made these young men very productive in the matter of a spring practice and a summer. If a 4 star receiver recruit can't figure out that this staff and its system isn't conducive to making heroes out of receivers, they don't deserve to wear the BLACK AND GOLD. He has been very successful to date on the recruiting trail and the good ones will be coming weather a lineman, receiver or db because we have some sizzle again on the field. We only have so many rides available better jump in now the train in rolling again !!!!!

Rondale is a stud. Period. He has the fastest time of all income no recruits and he single handedly beats teams in high school. You better believe he would be a hero in this system. He would have to fight for his spot by learning the system and not making mistakes, but to quote CJB "your best players got to find their way onto the field". I know he would be creative in using Rondale and that unbelievable speed. CJB had a very fast kid at Western Kentucky and he got drafted.

The other WR in the '18 class is a beast too. He has great size and watching his video, he is a huge weapon in the screen game. His injury doesn't seem to be major, but he could still miss a lot of time.

CJB will move on in he doesn't get Rondale, but he is all in. CJB knows what kind of player he is and the impact he could have. You can't teach that kind of speed. Scouts are saying he isn't just fast, he is quick. Looking at clips, he has crazy agility. Just get him the ball and let that speed do the work.

Will we get him? I don't know, but this is a great game to have him out on. The atmosphere should be crazy! I know CJB wants him and I know he is interested enough to take a visit, not to mention he talked about Purdue being a real contender throughout his recruitment. If Texas is out (which he hasn't decomitted yet), Purdue would be an excellent fit.
