Congrats to Ricardo Allen on getting a 3 yr $19.5 million dollar extension. Ricardo was one of my favorite Hope recruits.

Living here in Atlanta I get to see him play weekly. Very underappreciated here.
People realize he is a great guy and a nice player but a lot of talk here that he needs to step up and earn that contract or move on. He definitely needs to be more of a ball hawk but I also think in Dan Quinn's system he's the last line of defense vs. the run too.
Hope with the extra incentive $$$ he takes that big step forward. I maintain he'd have never made it to the NFL being as undersized as he is if he had not come to Purdue. He got 4 full years to play and really develop vs. going to a bigger school and maybe only playing 1-2 years due to his size.
