calls go both ways. You have 5/6 and so do I. If you can watch that game and blame it on refs then you're basketball stupid. You lost because you were out hustled and swanigan was non factor last 20 minutes. You have a hell of a team and I don't want any part of you in tourney. You'll be fine with this group. Tough on the road. Still stunned Iowa beat you after what went down first meeting. That's why we watch and love sport. You never fn' know do you?

Purdue proved itself more than capable of losing that game on its own, but, to deny that the officiating did not play a role in the outcome is actually the textbook definition of basketball stupid.

Nobody knows whether Purdue truly has a hell of a team or not, as they are wildly inconsistent...they have two losses now that they never should have had, and there is no need to worry about having any part of Purdue in the tourney barring some fluke of a repeat of 1980.

This Purdue team is very much like many Purdue teams before it...which means it is just good enough to tease, but not good enough to produce when it matters most.

Iowa won because the game was played in Iowa City...which is not to say that they did not play harder, as that was a product of playing there...and they played far better than they had in West Lafayette, again a product of playing there...they absolutely deserved to win in that they made adjustments...their best player delivered...and they got stops when they needed them, as Purdue did not do those things.

Jok shot the ball extremely well. He made all the tough shots, Boilers didn't go through their best player and jacked up 3s, that's the difference in this game

Interior defense is what loss the game. Iowa doubled our points in the paint. Couldn't stop the pick and pop/roll and Jok had a really good game. Those were the differences. The out of bounds call didn't help our cause but we shouldn't been in that situation. Offense was good for most of the game but went cold down the stretch. I was afraid we would have a let down after Wisconsin. It never fails it seems.

Tough to beat a team twice that quickly.........and with the horrible out of bounds call to boot. Not in the cards for PU. On to the next.
