Good gracious. In the same amount of time at OSU as CMP has at Purdue, Matta has 2 final 4's, 3 elite 8's and 4 B1G championships compared to 0, 0, and 1 for CMP. In the last 10 years, Thad has made the NCAA tourney 9 times and won the NIT when they didn't. Painter has missed 3 out of 10, making (and losing) in the CBI once and making nothing the other 2 years. You're not doing Painter any favors by comparing him to successful coaches.
