End of games, execution is everything. That's how you win games in this tournament.
~ Clark Kellog

The TruTV analysts after the McNeese state - Xavier game were wisdom. Even from Barkley.
You've all got kids, right? How many times have you told them exactly what to do? And how many times have they not done it?

And squeeze the orange. kennesaw state didn’t do that.
But... going quick (the pick came too late) and expect the block. As Clark said, he'd never do a normal layup again ... It was a block, not a turnover that stopped them.

There are some great games going on! Lots of good basketball these days. (VCU/St. Mary's) Why isn't good in the B1G?

Or just style of play. Who knows. I just know I am constantly impressed with the play and players of small schools in the Dance ... and constantly unimpressed with the basketball that is played by many B1G teams.
It's style of play IMO. B1G is slow, too physical and predictable on the defensive end. Leads to 20+ years with no championship.

At least Painter is known for making in game adjustments like his mentor Keady. Must be why I can't count the number of Final Fours they made combined off the top of my head.

Painter doesnt understand that if you play a faster more athletic team, you can’t play man to man the whole game. You need to mix it up and zone them. Show them different looks
