Can anybody get all 10 right?? If so, you can officially claim the title of Most Knowledgeable Purdue Fan.

1. Three players on the team are shooting over 60% from the field. Can you name them?

2. Who leads the team in minutes played?

3. Who leads the team in 3%?

4. This year's team FT% is 74.5%. This is the best in how many years?

5. Swanigan is averaging 9.6 RPG. Who's the last player to average more than that?

6. Who leads the team in assists?

7. Who leads the team in A/TO ratio?

8. Who leads the team in steals?

9. What is the standard deviation in PPG among the top 10 players?

10. Of the regular rotation (not Taylor or Toyra), who has the most fouls per minute played?

1. Haas, Hammons, and Hill, who is actually leading the team at 75%

2. Swanigan does. Next is Edwards, followed by Thompson. I think of our team as veteran and experienced, but we're also still young. Our top 6 by MP is 1 freshman, 4 sophomores, and a 5th year transfer.

3. Hammons, although this is a bit of a trick question, as he's only shot 3 times. And made 3 times! I am starting to sense that our 3 point shooting needs to step up. We only have 2 regular shooters above 40% - Cline and Davis.

4. The 2003 team shot 75.2%. I hope this holds up, as we tend to get fouled a lot. Stephens shot 86% his freshman year, 74% his sophomore year, and is shooting just 54% so far this year. That's hard to believe.

5. Big Dog, at 10.1. JJ was close at 8.6

6. Edwards. He also led the team in assists last year.

7. PJ is currently at an astounding 5.6 A/TO. The highest yearly leader I can find is Cardinal in 97 at 7.25. As a team, we are currently sitting at a very respectable 1.54 A/TO. It's subject to small sample sizes, but there are a lot of impressive numbers here: Mathias = 4, Cline = 3, Edwards = 2.25, and Stephens = 2. If these numbers hold up, all 5 would be ranked in the top 20 Purdue players in A/TO since 1993.

8. Hill, at 1.5 per game. That would be best since Kramer. He's quite simply the perfect fit for Painter - says all the right things, hustles and plays as hard as my favorite Purdue players of all time. I would have guessed he'd been in the system for 5 years.

9. 2.70. I went back to 1993, and this is the lowest. Translation = this team is very balanced. The next most balanced was last year's team at 2.71. The least balanced teams? 93-94 = 9.1 and 92-93 = 7.0. Not necessarily a bad thing to have an unstoppable scorer like Big Dog, but this team isn't going to be as easily slowed down if, say, one of our top guys hurts his back while celebrating at the hotel room after a S16 victory over Kansas.

10. Cline does, followed by Swanigan. Typical freshman adjustments. Haas has done a great job of cutting down on fouls. Davis, followed by PJ, has the best fouls/MP figure.

Very interesting stuff. Thanks for pulling it together. I often forget how good of a rebounder Big Dog was.

Agree.....I think he's the last player to lead the conference in both scoring and rebounding in a season....hasn't been done that often. Before GR, I think it was Mychal Thompson of Minnesota.
