Totally agree. Maybe he got the message with his extended minutes on the pine. But credit to him for making good decisions.
The more I watch, the less of a fan I am of a high ball screen for Carsen with anyone other than Cline. Haarms/TW’s man isn’t respecting them to take the 3 and hence the only result is a double team of our best player that we created.

Carsen has got to figure this out. He is way to good of a player to be playing at such a poor level for an extended time like he has the past 3 1/2 games now. At this point, I would wonder what Purdue was +/- with him in the first half. I'm confident he'll get it turned around at some point because he is just way to good for this to become a thing....but needs to get out of the funk quickly.
Well he got benched. That doesn’t happen much. Let’s reset and come out strong.
I hate Tre playing the high ball screen. He's not a cutter. He needs to play the post and be able to push it back outside to the open man. That's his strength. We need to use it.
I liked Wheeler's contribution. He was a spark!
He has to take and make them on occasion though. Neither he nor TW even look for it. If they’re not going to, screen with someone who will
agree....but he was benched for his defense (or lack of it) I believe. He seems to be deferring and more patient on offense. Just speculation, but I think a lot of it is frustration over the last couple of weeks. Glynn Watson, Jr. is also playing him tough.
Hopefully, the Boilers play a strong second half......Nebraska has some good players.
We need Haarms to have a big 2nd half. Tre still isn't his old self I think.
I hope the smart guys calling for a less aggressive Carsen are happy. He’s playing the way you guys wanted and we are now down to the level of Nebraska and IU

On the bright side.....no Boilers with more than one foul. Although I'm not interested in a trip to Whistle City this next half.....I hate that place.
I agree - strep plus the antibiotics to cure it are a body downer for sure. The last time I had strep I was on antibiotics for 10 days.
