Am I correct that the only way to watch this is on BTN or pay them for streaming it???

Havent seen Maryland play yet. Any thoughts on style of play or match ups would be appreciated.

Much different than last year. No more Trimble dribbling the air out of the ball. They play good defense. Huerter is their Robbie Hummel

This will be a very difficult road game, they always have a good crowd and have the size to throw at us. Justin Jackson is probably a future pro, VE needs to win this matchup and not have any stupid fouls or turnovers. They are also coming off close loss at Syracuse. (2 points) If I recall, we squeaked out of their last year with a win.
Would like to see us shoot the 3 better than we did Louisville, limit turnovers and easy transition baskets.

PU is -2. Vegas was spot on with the L'ville score. I think it'll be similar in that it'll be close for 35 minutes with PU pulling away near the end.

It will be a tough win for the Boilers. You can beat them by driving the lane which makes CE bigtime in this one.

We can also beat them by Haas having a big game.

BTW I am waiting for a breakout game from Eastern -- it will come....he just has too many skills and size for it not to.....hopefully Friday.

I see MD winning unless CE or Haas has a great game. Additionally, while they are not a great rebounding team, we do not need to make them one Friday night.

Interesting with a -2 line that betting site projections like Purdue and have the Boilers winning by double digits, for instance Covers has 75-65 and Oddsshark 78-62

Need to shoot decent from distance. A couple of clutch 3s from the Cowboy to end a MD run or start a Purdue run will help.

I'd like to see NE get more aggressive and attack more, whether that's just in pushing the ball up the floor or taking advantage of having a smaller player on him. I think his strength is getting to the rim, so when Haarms is in, I'd love to see some high screen action and get a 5 caught out top trying to guards NE.

One thing I haven't seen is the amazing ball handling I expecting based on his recruiting. He just seems tentative right now but I know it's a huge adjustment from high school to High Major D1.

Disagree. Noel shows that which you wish for already. Just needs to let the game come to him and not push too much. As his Mama says he needs time to season his game and it will come. I expect to see freshman moments be use that's what he is.

I'd like to see some posters cut him some slack. He's a freshman for God's sake. I'd also like to see Cline warm up and make CMP keep him on the floor more. And I might as well throw Ewing in there too. Lord knows we could use another glass cleaner. But yeah, let Nojel get acclimated to D-1 ball. (Btw, I don't agree with the first game of the conference season starting in December, at all).

May or may not be able to watch it through Fox Sports Go

Yes. It should stream live on the FoxSportsGO app. In addition, you can stream at no additional cost on BTN2Go.com since it is an over-the-air BTN broadcast. I'm not sure about FoxSportsGo, but BTN will require your cable/satellite/streaming login.

We need Haas healthy to neutralize their big men. I like to see the Twin Towers when Benders comes into the game.

However, the key IMO is the D on Jackson and Huerter by Vince and Dakota. Here is also where I would like to see Nojel matched up against these two.especially Jackson. We need athletic D on them, so neither of them go on a spurt.

I don't have cable (but have sling for tv, few channels streamed via internet) Is there a way to purchase BTN steaming only? Or do you have to have a cable package with BTN?

I should look it up but I figured some other good soul on this board has already looked into this.

Their freshman big Bruno Fernando has been better than anticipated thus far. He's very active on both ends of the floor. He'll be a tough matchup.

You have to buy cable unfortunately. Really hope the Big Ten Network will wind up as option on sling eventually.
