Their length will cause issues, Haas will need to be able to get them in foul trouble
They frustrated him terribly last year. Deng Adel is a legit and he will look to shut down Mathias as well.

It's a challenging matchup for the Boilers. They probably need to play their best all-around game to get the W.
I agree . This being at home will help I hope and could be a catalyst for things to come.

I also hope we learned something from two losses that shouldn't of happened and apply that tonight. And that goes for CMP as well.

This is an important game tonight. I know it's early but a convincing win puts Purdue back on track a loss makes things look like we are not as good as we thought.

Anyone know who's on the call tonight?

Haven't seen anything yet, but it's a Tuesday ESPN game, which is usually Dave Flemming and Dan Dakich for the Big Ten anyway. Maybe they change it up with Rob Hummel?

Should be a really good game tonight either way.

They lead the country in block shots per game (9), granted they haven't played the competition we have up to this point. This is the type of team that historically causes Purdue issues, long and athletic.

It will be however their first road game of the year, welcome to Mackey David Padgett :) We need this game alot more than Louisville as we don't have many opponents left this year that are ranked. Also need to take care of business at home.

Purdue was effective in its full-court press/trapping vs. Louisville last season. Will we see that tonight?

The Boilers did much better on the boards than I had anticipated.

Rebounding was a team effort, and I think we all know that is going to be the blueprint for success on the glass this year: Vince with 7 boards, 4 guys in the 4-5 range, and another 2 guys with 3 each. It was real nice to see the team-wide energy & effort in that area tonight.
